Job OverviewAre you a wellbeing professional who thrives in complex environments and can lead meaningful change? Do you want your work to have a genuine impact on people, communities and society as a whole?
Mitie's Immigration and Justice division is offering a unique opportunity to join the Justice Partners Escort and Court Custody Scotland (JPECCS) contract as a Culture and Wellbeing Partner. In this role, you play a vital part in supporting those who operate at the heart of public services! Helping to ensure they are safe, valued and resilient in what can often be a demanding environment. This is more than a workplace wellbeing role. It is a chance to contribute to a service that supports the justice system and wider community, improving outcomes not only for colleagues but also for the people and communities they serve. You will design and deliver impactful wellbeing strategies and drive positive cultural change. In collaboration with operational leaders, training teams and external partners, you will help shape a compassionate, inclusive and high-performing culture. Your work will directly influence colleague experience, strengthen resilience and ultimately support the delivery of essential public services that benefit society.
If you are passionate about wellbeing, confident in leading cultural change and motivated by making a difference where it matters most, this is a role where your impact will be both visible and meaningful.
Main Duties
-Lead the delivery of a safe and effective working environment by providing high-quality wellbeing support to colleagues.
-Design and implement the JPECCS Culture and Wellbeing Strategy, ensuring wellbeing remains a key priority for colleagues, managers and stakeholders.
-Build strong working relationships across the contract and with external partners to support delivery of wellbeing workshops and training.
-Maintain and promote a clear and accessible range of wellbeing support services available to all colleagues.
-Act as a champion for positive workplace culture, promoting inclusion and ensuring a working environment free from bullying, harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
-Work with the training team to manage and deliver programmes such as Mental Health First Aid and Trauma Risk Management (TRiM).
-Monitor wellbeing and absence data, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
-Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, events and activities promoting engagement and resilience.
-Chair multi-agency wellbeing meetings, support a restorative culture across the contract and work with senior leaders to identify trends and implement actions to reduce sickness absence.
What we are looking forWe are looking for a confident and experienced Wellbeing and Culture Partner who brings a proven track record in designing and delivering effective wellbeing strategies while driving positive cultural change. You will be a clear and professional communicator, able to navigate sensitive and complex situations with empathy and sound judgement. You will be comfortable using Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Forms, Teams and Power BI, and confident in working with IT systems and data. A high level of integrity is required, with experience in handling confidential information in line with GDPR. Due to the nature of the role, you must also be able to successfully undergo vetting checks and enhanced disclosure.
