What the role involves:
Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Teaching a range of practical and theoretical musical concepts
Supporting students in developing performance, composition, and listening skills
Preparing pupils for GCSE Music assessments where applicable
Organising and supporting concerts, productions, and extracurricular activities
Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching Music within a UK secondary school
Strong knowledge of both practical and theoretical aspects of Music
Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
