Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals and refreshments
Cater to specialist dietary needs
Maintain food documentation and hygiene standards
Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
Work collaboratively with the care team to support older residents, including those with dementia
Requirements
Previous catering experience required
NVQ or 706/1 and 706/2 qualifications preferred (not essential)
Current Basic Food Hygiene certificate
Experience in elderly care settings preferred
Ability to cook from scratch using basic ingredients
Strong communication and organisational skills
Genuine interest in working in a caring environment
