We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the yard team at our busy Mansfield depot. This is a fast-paced,
practical role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers, and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
* Safely operating a forklift to pick, load, and unload vehicles
* Assisting customers, suppliers, and delivery drivers on site
* Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required
* Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe, with high standards of presentation
* Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues
* Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S concerns
* Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation
What we’re looking for
* Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
* Previous experience working in a builders’ merchant environment
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Good communication skills and attention to detail
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong awareness of safety procedures
* Eligible to work in the UK
What we offer
* Salary: £30,628 per annum
* Hours: 6.30am–5pm Monday to Friday
* Holiday: 23 days plus Bank Holidays
* Discretionary bonus scheme
