Builders Merchants - Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established builders merchants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for work within a fast-paced trade environment.
The Role:
Working as part of the yard team, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Operating Counterbalance FLT in a busy yard environment
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Serving trade and retail customers professionally
- Maintaining stock levels and keeping the yard clean and organised
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (in-date)
- Previous experience within a builders merchants or similar environment preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturday mornings may be required
- Competitive hourly rate
