Are you a Registered Nurse who is looking to make a difference in a new team or seeking a new challenge to help support patients in the community?
If so, this opportunity is for you!
We are looking to recruit a full time/part time registered nurse/s to work with the Belper Community Nursing Teams in Amber Valley.
We are a friendly, supportive bunch who work closely with colleagues in both Rapid Response and ARCH (Alfreton, Ripley and Heanor) and of course alongside the wider teams.
There has never been a more exciting time to join one of the largest specialist community NHS providers in the country – one that is also among the very best NHS employers, as voted by its own staff.
Please apply to join our team today!
To manage referrals into our service and provide evidence-based care to support patients in their own home.
This great opportunity includes working alongside general practice, therapy and our Home visiting colleagues.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care, promoting self care wherever possible in an efficient and clinically effective way, whilst maintaining privacy and dignity.
To provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high quality care and actively support the community nursing sister/charge nurse in the management of the health care environment.
We are a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic team who work closely with our colleagues to provide a holistic integrated service that enables and educates our patients to remain independent in their own homes, whenever possible, to prevent hospital admission and support a safe discharge home.
This is increasingly important as care for patients become more community-focused.
Our purpose in Derbyshire is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.
Benefits include:
• Commitment to flexible working where this is possible
• 27 days annual leave/year plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days after 5 years & 33 days after 10 years’ service
• Yearly appraisal and commitment to ongoing training
• Generous NHS pension scheme
• Good maternity, paternity and adoption benefits
• Health service discounts and online benefits
• Incremental pay progression
