Join Our Silver Heart Unit Team as a Nurse

About the Role:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on our 10 Bedded Day Surgical Unit
• Care for a wide range of procedures, such as Angiogram with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Pacemaker/Defibrillator Implants, LINQ Implants.
• Support patients electively and inpatients who are coming to the unit for procedures.

Shift Pattern:

Main duties of the job

Are you a dedicated nurse committed to providing personalised care? We are seeking a skilled professional to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care before and after procedures, ensuring every patient receives tailored, high-quality interventions.

Work Requirements:
• Our Unit runs Monday – Friday, with on-call nursing cover during the weekdays. Potential to move to 7 Day Working.

Key Skills:
• Excellent communication skills are essential for delivering sensitive information and lifestyle advice effectively
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Additional Responsibilities:
• Play a vital role in the education, development, supervision, and assessment of learners and unregistered staff
• Support departmental clinical governance initiatives and participate in audit reviews

Professional Conduct:
• Uphold professionalism in line with the NMC Codes of Professional Conduct

Essential Attributes:
• A reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
