Do you find yourself stopping to identify plants on walks, losing hours in garden centres, or dreaming about what you’d do with a blank canvas of a plot? If gardening genuinely excites you — whether you’ve been doing it for years or you’re just starting out — we’d love to hear from you.
Gardens by Rachel is a small, passionate gardening business based in Leamington Spa, working across the local area on everything from hands-on maintenance to beautiful planting schemes and design projects. We’re looking for a Gardener to join us — and we’re open to applicants at any stage of their career, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.
What the Role Involves
• Hands-on garden maintenance — pruning, weeding, planting, mowing, border preparation and more
• Assisting with garden design and planting projects
• Working directly with clients, suppliers and contractors
• Supporting with photography for our social media (a bonus if you have a good eye!)
The Details
Hours of Work Flexible (minimum 12 hrs/week)
Location Leamington Spa and surrounding areas
Pay Commensurate with experience
Mileage £0.55 per mile
Holiday 28 days (pro-rated)
Pension Auto-enrolment after 3 months (if eligible)
Uniform Branded clothing provided
Training Additional training may be required, dependent upon experience
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…
• Have a genuine love of plants and gardens — this matters more than formal qualifications
• Are physically fit and happy with outdoor, active work
• Are well-presented, reliable and good with people (you’ll be working in clients’ private gardens)
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car
• Are self-motivated and able to use your initiative
