Who we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior leaders to develop and maintain a positive, ambitious culture which promotes excellent safeguarding practices by removing barriers to learning.

We are looking for safeguarding experts who are able to develop strategies and provide advice to senior leaders to help create an open safe environment where all stakeholders are able to raise concerns.

As a Regional Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer, you will be deployed across our schools located in the cluster regions of West Midlands and London and so you must be flexible to travel as and when required to do so.

You will have:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience in managing complex child protection cases and an ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with both internal and external organisations
• A proven track record of achieving organisational change and experience of partnership and multi-agency working.
• Up to date current thinking around safeguarding and be equipped with the skills and knowledge to undertake the role.
• The ability to identify opportunities to deliver improvement.
