Job Advert

Do you have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting projects and
systems? We’re looking for a Project Support Administrator to join our Business Systems team and play a key role in supporting the
smooth day-to-day administration of projects, systems and business activities across HMS. This role covers the North West Region,
including Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington, with travel across operational areas where required. At HMS, we’re continuing to
invest in our systems, processes and ways of working to support our operational teams and deliver high-quality services to
customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll contribute to business improvement activities,
system administration and project coordination. You’ll work closely with the Project Support Officer and wider Business Systems
team, helping to maintain accurate records, coordinate meetings and communications, support reporting activities and provide
excellent administrative support across a range of business systems and projects.

What you’ll be doing:

* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Systems team across a range of projects and operational activities.
* Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, logs, meeting notes and filing systems.
* Support the organisation of meetings, workshops and training sessions, including booking rooms, preparing agendas and
circulating actions.
* Ensure project and system documentation is stored and maintained in line with information governance requirements.
* Update spreadsheets, reports and systems to track actions, outcomes and project progress.
* Assist with preparing information for audits, assurance activities and internal reporting.
* Support administrative activities linked to ICT systems and process improvements, including maintaining user lists and updating
guidance documents.
* Assist with coordinating communications and training activities for system users.
* Maintain contact lists, correspondence and routine communications.
* Provide administrative support for financial processes, including raising orders, logging invoices and maintaining financial
records.
* Act as a first point of contact for routine system administration queries, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with operational teams, ICT and corporate services to support business system activity.
* Deliver a professional, customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
* Ensure all activity is carried out in line with company policies, data protection and health & safety requirements.

What we’re looking for:

* Experience providing administrative support within a busy office or operational environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple routine tasks effectively.
* Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own workload.
* Experience using housing or contractor software systems such as QL Housing is desirable.
* NVQ in Business Administration (or equivalent) is desirable.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Interview Process:

* Candidates will be invited to attend an interview, which will include a competency-based discussion exploring relevant
experience, knowledge, and skills required for the role. Interviews will take place week commencing 1st June 2026, at our
Stonebridge Office.
