About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives as a Sport, Nutrition and Wellbeing Tutor with YMCA Derbyshire. What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive individual who is committed to helping young people succeed, no matter their starting point. You’ll be an inspiring communicator with the ability to engage and motivate learners, build strong relationships, and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. With experience in sport, nutrition and wellbeing —and ideally working with young people—you’ll bring both practical knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting others. You’ll be adaptable, patient, and organised, able to balance multiple priorities while responding to individual learner needs, including those with additional support requirements. Most importantly, you’ll have a can-do attitude, a strong sense of empathy, and a drive to make a lasting impact by helping learners grow in confidence, develop key life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes.
YMCA Derbyshire is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All roles are subject to references and an enhanced DBS check.
YMCA Derbyshire is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer.
