Seasonal Farm Worker – OW Wortley & Sons Ltd
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Farm Worker to join our busy farming business from mid July onwards, with the potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate.
The role will involve a variety of day-to-day farm duties including:
General tractor driving
Forklift driving
Irrigation work
Carting during harvest
Machinery operation
General farm maintenance and support work
We grow potatoes, parsnips and cereals, so year round work is potentially available
Previous experience with forklifts and telehandlers is preferred, along with a good understanding of farm machinery and safe working practices.
Self-employed applicants are preferred, although this can be discussed for the right candidate. Full-time hours are available.
On-site accommodation is available if required (chargeable).
Rate of pay to be discussed depending on experience.
Ideal candidate:
Hardworking and trustworthy
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible during busy periods
Full UK driving licence essential
Must have the right to work in the UK
