Summary

Laundry Assistant. Oak Springs Care Home

Salary: £12.76 per hour
Contract: 16.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 10am-4pm, 3 x days per week, including weekend working as part of a rolling rota

Join our exceptional team at Oak Springs Care Home in Wavertree, a luxurious, purpose-built residential care home. At Oak Springs, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of residential, respite, and dementia care for older people.

Our stunning 74-bed home is thoughtfully designed across three floors, with state-of-the-art facilities including music rooms, a beauty salon, cozy lounges, and serene courtyard spaces. We are committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community where residents can thrive, celebrating individuality and enhancing quality of life in meaningful ways.

As a Laundry Assistant at our home, your role may involve:

Undertaking any necessary training
Loading Industrial sized Washers and Dryers
Operating steamers
Carry out laundry duties-training will be provided
Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

What are we looking for?

Applicants should be strong team-players, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Furthermore, post-holders must be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry, gained either in work or domestic environments.
