Lotus Recruitment is recruiting Children’s Support Workers on behalf of a residential children’s setting that supports young people with emotional, behavioural and additional needs.
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, resilient and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people within a safe and supportive residential environment.
The Role
As a Children’s Support Worker, you will:
-Provide day‑to‑day care, guidance and emotional support to children and young people
-Help create a safe, nurturing and structured environment
-Support young people with daily routines, education, activities and appointments
-Encourage positive behaviour, independence and life skills
-Build trusting relationships with children and act as a positive role model
-Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
-Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow safeguarding procedures at all times
What We Are Looking For
-Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
-A caring, patient and flexible approach
-Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
-Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays
