Crynodeb

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children's Team.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements
  • Manage a varied caseload involving child protection, CIN, and court work
  • Conduct Section 47 investigations and safeguarding enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records
  • Attend strategy meetings, conferences, and court proceedings where required

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Experience completing assessments and managing complex cases
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
