We are looking for a caring and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal Year 2 pupil working at an EYFS level in a welcoming primary school in Saltburn.
This is a rewarding 1:1 role supporting the child's learning, communication, and emotional development throughout the school day.
- Experience working with SEND pupils preferred
- Calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Understanding of autism and communication needs beneficial
- Ability to build positive relationships and support routines
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support
- Supporting learning at EYFS level
- Encouraging communication and engagement
- Working closely with teaching and SEND staff
