Qualified Science Teacher
Location: Located in Manchester (excellent transport links)
Salary : In line with the Main / Upper Teaching Pay Scale
Start Date : September
Are you a Science teacher who wants to make a real difference in students’ lives?
Looking for a role where you can be part of something new and genuinely shape how a school develops from day one?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity.
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Science Teacher to join a brand new, purpose-built specialist secondary school opening this September in Manchester.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to be part of something from the ground up - helping shape a fresh, supportive learning environment for young people aged 11–18 who need a bit of extra support to succeed.
If you’re someone who enjoys making a real impact and wants more than just a “standard teaching role,” you’ll feel right at home here.
About the Role
You’ll be delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5). The focus is on sparking curiosity, building confidence, and helping students understand the world around them in a way that works for them.
No two days will look exactly the same — so being flexible, creative, and able to adapt your teaching style is key. You’ll be working with students who benefit from a more personalised and supportive approach, so patience and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive is essential.
