UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We are seeking a highly capable and resilient Head of Healthcare to lead the delivery of healthcare services within a secure custodial environment. You will be joining HMP Wakefield, a Category A high security prison for males. HMP Wakefield is in the centre of Wakefield, easily accessible by car and train, and has lots of free car parking . This is a senior operational management role, requiring a confident registered clinician with significant experience in budget management, governance, and staff leadership. You will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the healthcare service within the prison, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care in a complex and challenging environment. This role demands a strong leader who can balance clinical credibility with robust management and financial oversight. Salary This is a full time role offering a salary up to £65,000 per annum + £4000 car allowance + 10% discretionary bonus. Hours Usually Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm, with flexibility as needed. Interviews are planned for 11 June for this role in Leeds.
