Location: Northwest Midlands (Based from HMP Stafford – covering local sites)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £35,504 – £44,830 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week + 1 in 4 weekends (15% allowance)
Benefits: Company van and fuel card

About the role
We are looking for a Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team, working across a small number of sites in the local region.
This is a varied role where you will carry out maintenance and repairs on commercial gas systems, helping to keep essential facilities safe and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Service and inspect gas appliances
Work on boilers, heaters, and water systems
Complete minor repairs and installations
Follow health and safety procedures at all times

What we’re looking for
Gas Safe registered
Commercial gas qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/A)
Experience working with commercial gas systems
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
Full UK driving licence
Able to work independently
