This is a senior leadership role within GMMH CAMHS Community Services. As Service Manager, you will lead the operational delivery and ongoing transformation of community‑based CAMHS services, ensuring children, young people and families receive the right help, at the right time, in the right place.

You will work closely with clinical leaders, system partners and lived‑experience voices to design and deliver services that are:
• Accessible and responsive
• Joined‑up across health, care and education
• Focused on outcomes that matter to children and families

This is a varied, influential role for someone who is passionate about system working, service improvement, and compassionate leadership.

• Provide strong, compassionate leadership across a range of community CAMHS pathways, working across localities and partner organisations.
• Support delivery of Long Term Plan priorities, including improved access, reduced waiting times, earlier intervention and strengthened crisis pathways.
• Work with Clinical Leads to ensure services are safe, effective and outcome‑focused, with robust clinical and quality governance.

Provide senior operational leadership across community CAMHS teams and specialist pathways.
Ensure services meet access standards, manage demand, reduce waiting times and maintain safe patient flow.
Work in partnership with Clinical Leads to maintain robust clinical, quality and safeguarding governance.
Lead performance management, quality improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance
.Manage workforce planning, staff development, appraisal, wellbeing and engagement.
Maintain financial control, ensuring services operate within allocated budgets and deliver value for money.
Lead and support service improvement and transformation projects aligned to Trust and system priorities.
Build effective partnerships with commissioners, education, social care, primary care and VCSE organisations.
Contribute to strategic planning and represent CAMHS in internal and external forums.
Deputise for the Head of Operations and participate in the senior manager on‑call rota.
