Deputy Care Home Manager

~ £23.00 per hour
~ 40 hours per week
~ Permanent, Full-Time
We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to join a well-established nursing home in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate clinical leader looking to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking care environment.
The successful candidate will work a mixed role consisting of:
2 clinical nursing shifts per week
2 supernumerary management shifts per week
You will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service while ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and resident wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager with the overall operation of the home
Lead and motivate the clinical and care teams
Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and medication checks
Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
Support occupancy, resident satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives
Act as a clinical role model within the service
Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
Requirements
Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN preferred)
Active NMC PIN
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse within a care home setting
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Passion for delivering outstanding elderly and nursing care
