In this role, you will be working 3 days per week (22.2 hours) within our Sixth Form department, based at our Loxton Campus.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at our Loxton Campus in Weston-super-Mare.
As a Lecturer in Biology, you will be responsible for the delivery of A Level Biology.
You will:
- Provide high quality teaching, assessment and internal moderation;
- Give appropriate support to students to enable them to achieve their goals
- Assist students in progressing from their course, whether this it into Higher Education or employment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject.
- Teaching experience and knowledge of current teaching strategies
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.
You will also need to either hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to gain this whilst in post (with the support of Weston College)
