Dublcheck – (Fullerton Cooper Solutions Ltd) are looking to recruit the Area Manager covering our Dundee & Edinburgh regions. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, strong leadership, management, planning and coordination skills and be able to lead by example with a proactive approach and have proven communication skills in working with staff and clients.
The post-holder will lead, support, and develop cleaning teams, oversee resources and stock, ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, and provide accurate, detailed reports to management as required.
The role also includes property inspection duties ensuring all services meet company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervisory
• Oversee and coordinate the cleaning team on a day-to-day basis
• Allocate tasks and ensure work is completed to schedule and standard
• Conduct quality checks
• Act as the first point of contact for team queries and issues on site
• Monitor team attendance and report any concerns
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and correctly
Resource Management
• Ensure cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment are available, maintained, and fit for use.
• Oversee stock control, replenishment, and proper use of resources.
Recruitment & Staffing
• Support recruitment activities, including interviewing, onboarding, and inducting new staff.
• Work with management to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Hands-On Cleaning (as required)
• Step in to carry out cleaning duties during busy periods or staff shortages
• Deep cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Lead by example to maintain team morale and cleaning standards
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
• Communicate regularly with clients to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Ensure client-specific requirements are clearly communicated to the team and delivered on time.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards
• Ability to manage, motivate, and organise a cleaning team effectively
• Right to Work in the UK (documentary proof required)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership on site
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Comfortable stepping into a hands-on cleaning role when needed
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proactive, results-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
