About the Role:
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team at Greenacres on a part-time, permanent basis:
• Hours: 5 Hours per week
• Shifts: Set rota, night shifts, every other weekend, and some bank holidays (enhancements paid)
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting tenants with their overnight needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and respected throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care (e.g. toileting, bathing, dressing, mobility support)
• Administering prescribed medication under supervision
• Supporting tenants with meals and hydration as needed
• Monitoring wellbeing and updating care records accurately
• Responding to emergencies and administering first aid
• Encouraging independence and choice in all aspects of care
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and using initiative when needed
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Are caring, respectful, and committed to high-quality care
• Have experience in personal care or social support (or are keen to learn – full training provided)
• Communicate clearly and compassionately
• Are confident working with vulnerable individuals, including those with complex or challenging needs
• Can stay calm and professional in emotionally demanding situations
A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent) is desirable, along with knowledge of care standards, safe use of equipment, and electronic care recording systems.
