A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.


1-year fixed term contract-The Specialist Community Public Health Nurse student will undertake an academic programme at The University of Hull who stipulate the course length, usually one academic year. The course is a combination of theory and practice placements. The learning environment for the practice placements will be facilitated by a Practice Supervisor and assessed by Practice and Academic Assessors. Employment conditions apply to students as they apply to employed staff.

To attend all course lectures and access all learning facilities as made available by the University of Hull.

To attend practice placement and work with Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor to develop specialist practitioner skills and access all facilities within the learning environment.

To work with members of the 0-19 Health and Wellbeing Service team in learning the skills of health needs assessment, group facilitation, family support, leadership and management, evidence-based practice and developing clinical practice.
