Fuse Youth Services, a local Bridlington-based charity, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team for 9 months - with the potential to extend the contract and increased hours (subject to funding)
We deliver a range of creative and engaging programmes, including Musical Mavericks, Express-2-Destress, the Listening Lounge, STEM Fusion Workshops, and other activities designed to improve wellbeing, reduce mental health challenges, and help young people feel heard and supported. Our mission is to engage, support, and inspire young people across Bridlington and the surrounding areas.
✨ About the Role:
As Project Manager , you will manage our youth sessions and help connect with young people in the community, encouraging them to take part in our youth activities. You will manage two youth sessions (Tuesdays and Fridays ) and a small Outreach team. The project Manager will play a key role as part of the Operational team in developing Fuse services.
Your work will include:
-Managing a small team of paid staff and volunteers including planning youth sessions and recruitment of staff including being involved in interviewing potential new candidates , completing DBS checks and training.
-Supporting youth sessions at our clubs
-Manage Outreach engagement across Bridlington
- Managing workshops and sessions including Musical Mavericks, STEM Fusion, and other creative activities
- Supporting activities that promote mental health, wellbeing, confidence, and resilience
- Helping young people express themselves, feel heard, and develop new skills
-Supporting our empowerment programmes, aged 10–18 build confidence, explore identity, and increase self-esteem
Training & Development:
All training will be provided, including the achievement of a qualification in Youth Work practice (if not already obtained ) .
What We’re Looking For:
-Recent management/ project management work with young people is an advantage but not essential
Experience engaging with children and young people up to 18 years old (advantageous but not essential )
-A passionate and enthusiastic attitude toward supporting young people
-A Diploma or Certificate in Youth Work Practice (advantageous but not essential- training will be supported )
-Willingness to complete training
-Must undertake a DBS check (required)
Hours & Pay:
• 8 hours per week (flexible arrangements and will include evening work
evenings)
• Pay to be discussed at interview stage
