Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Prepare clinics and ensure patient outcomes are recorded accurately and in a timely way
• Update and maintain patient records using PAS/Careflow
• Respond to queries from patients, relatives and staff at all levels
• Liaise with clinic coordinators to ensure appropriate patient follow-up
• Arrange patient transport and liaise with porters when required
• Manage and action generic email inboxes
• Chase outstanding queries with departments, teams and clinicians across multiple specialties
• Scan clinical and paper documents into Evolve promptly
• Escalate issues to the line manager where appropriate
• Provide general administrative support to the service
• Support the induction and training of new team members

We are looking for someone who can:

• Work well under pressure in a busy outpatient environment
• Communicate confidently with patients, families and colleagues at all levels
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Be flexible and adapt to changing service needs
• Consistently demonstrate a professional, approachable and patient-focused manner

We are looking for someone who is able to work Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
