The Opportunity:
Are you an ambitious Level 3 Practitioner ready to step away from a general role and lead a dedicated team? We are representing a prestigious local nursery that is looking for a Room Leader to bring fresh energy and leadership to their toddler/preschool room starting this June. This is a role for a "visionary" practitioner who understands that early years education is about more than just supervision-it's about inspiration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support a small team of TAs, ensuring high morale and consistent EYFS delivery.
- Curriculum Planning: Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and meet developmental milestones.
- Safety & Safeguarding: Act as a senior point of contact for all safeguarding protocols and medical monitoring within your room.
- Parent Partnerships: Build strong, professional relationships with parents, providing detailed feedback on their child's progress.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (NNEB, CACHE, or NVQ).
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory for this June start.
- Character: A natural leader who is calm under pressure and has a "lead by example" work ethic.
