The job purpose: To work as a specialist dietitian in the department within the Weight management service with a special interest in Tier 3 weight management. Work as part of the multidisciplinary medical and bariatric teams providing an effective specialist weight management service. To provide cover for out -patient clinics/groups during times of leave. To assist with data collection and audit. The job summary: Working as an experienced autonomous practitioner, to provide a high standard of patient focused care through specialised assessment. To plan and deliver a high quality service to patients working in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team. To offer dietetic skills and expertise to complex patients. To contribute to the Therapy Clinical Governance agenda to further improve the quality of the service.
