An extra lady needed as a P. A/carer three days a week, Monday, Thursdays 9. 30-4. 30 and Sunday 10-4 or 9-1pm
Another 2 hours or so would be available twice or three times a week
The applicant must be able to drive a wheelchair accessible car and be over 25 for insurance purposes.
She must be able and willing to cover sickness and holidays of 2 other daytime carers. This is very important.
I live near Fernwood school in Wollaton. the rate is equivalent to £14 an hour, paid every 28 days, thirteen times a year Holidays are five weeks a year. Wages are paid via the Direct Payments scheme; payment would not be high enough to be taxable.
There is some light personal care involved , I need to be given food, medications, drinks. i am paralysed from the neck down. I have a leg bag to be emptied and need to be hoisted to prevent pressure sores. All this and everything else will be shown to you.
I have a friendly cat, who, of course comes first, ha ha. He has a cat flap but requires feeding
Experience is not essential, common sense and a friendly personality are more important.
For further details, please contact Ingrid on
We are not able to help with visas or sponsorship.
