General Medicine – Junior Clinical fellow
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Clinical Fellow in Specialty General Medicine.
There are opportunities to cover our Divisional areas This is an unique opportunity to work alongside proactive MDT teams with daily consultant input to facilitate excellent care and safe discharges. There are opportunities for teaching, audit and research. The Division is fully committed to the continuing development, education and training of its staff. The applicant must have full membership and be able to undertake a full track of SHO on calls.

Applicants should be fully registered practitioners with Relevant years experience at Foundation year Level and experience in General medicine. The successful applicant will work on a general medical ward seeing both acute admissions and long stay patients under the supervision of a named consultant and with a team of other enthusiastic FY and CT doctors. Must have ALS.

Starting salary will be in accordance with NHS Medical & Dental: Local Appointment with a basic salary of £55,449 + on call supplements. The salary uplift will depend on the work schedule.

Please note that Clinical Fellows are paid on a local pay scale that mirrors Doctors in Training pay scales. Basic salary offered for this role is fixed at £55,449 and will not be uplifted beyond that salary point. Where the role requires out of hours working, evening, weekend and on call enhancements will be added according to a work schedule. It is Trust practice that we offer a set salary for this role and variations will not be considered.
