Crynodeb
Pulpex is bold, and building something genuinely different, and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
We’re scaling a first-of-its-kind fibre bottle technology designed to help brands move away from traditional glass and plastic, with sustainability at the core.
This is innovation moving into real-world manufacturing at our first commercial-scale facility near Glasgow Airport / Westway.
We’re recruiting for: Production Operatives & Logistics Operatives
Shift: Day shift & night shift (pitman rotation)
Training is provided, we’re hiring for behaviours. You don’t need to come with manufacturing experience. If you bring the right mindset, we’ll support you with training and development.
This could be for you if you:
Put safety first and take responsibility for doing things the right way, every time
Follow processes, care about standards, and take pride in getting it right Work with energy and pace, while staying calm, accurate and consistent
Are team-focused: communicate clearly, help others, and show up reliably
Spot issues early, speak up, and help prevent problems happening again
Care about continuous improvement and reducing waste - small actions that make a big difference
Why Pulpex?
Because this is not “business as usual” We have developed a patented, scalable fibre-based bottle designed to be widely recyclable through normal paper/card recycling streams. The technology was created to deliver a step-change in sustainable packaging at scale. The origins of the concept include a world-first 100% plastic-free paper-based spirits bottle announced by Diageo (Pulpex partnership), showing the ambition and seriousness behind the innovation.
