What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint 2 caring, patient and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to support a Reception-aged pupil with a vision impairment within our friendly, inclusive primary school.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference to a child’s early educational experience, supporting access to learning, independence, communication and social development within a nurturing EYFS environment.
The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, specialist advisory teachers, external professionals and parents to ensure the pupil can fully participate in all aspects of school life.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children with additional needs
• Understands the importance of inclusive practice
• Is calm, adaptable and proactive
• Can build positive relationships
• Is committed to safeguarding children
