We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Onsite Kitchen Showroom Cleaner to join our client’s team based in York.
This role is based within a busy kitchen showroom environment where maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation is essential for both customers and staff.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 4:30pm – 7:00pm (evenings)
- Sunday: 9:00am – 11:30am (mornings)
Total hours: 15 hours per week
Role Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring the showroom, office, and staff areas are consistently clean, tidy, and presentable. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming and safe environment for customers visiting the showroom, as well as maintaining a comfortable workspace for staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all showroom floor areas, ensuring they are free from dust, debris, and hazards
- Ensure kitchen displays and showroom areas are tidy, organised, and presentable at all times
- Clean office spaces, including desks, surfaces, and communal areas
- Maintain cleanliness of staff kitchen facilities, including wiping surfaces and keeping areas hygienic
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and toilet facilities to a high standard
- Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly
- Carry out general cleaning duties to keep the entire store clean and welcoming
- Report any maintenance or safety issues when identified
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (commercial, retail, or showroom environment desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to manage time effectively within set working hours
- Understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards
