Summary

You will work alongside a supportive and experienced team, contributing to real organisational processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and employee support. This role provides a strong foundation for a future career in HR, Learning & Development or wider business support functions, with structured learning built into the role through the Level 2 qualification.

• Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, responding professionally to emails and enquiries
• Support recruitment administration, including references, DBS checks and interview coordination
• Assist with onboarding processes, preparing induction materials and maintaining personnel records
• Provide support with learning & development activities, including coordinating training sessions and maintaining records
• Support HR reporting and carry out mini-audits to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR
• Provide administrative support for wellbeing initiatives and health & safety activities
• Produce documents such as letters, spreadsheets and meeting notes
• Attend meetings and contribute to process improvements

Essential Criteria

1. Genuine interest in HR, learning and development or people-focused work
2. Good written and verbal communication skills
3. Basic IT skills (email, Word, Excel, Teams)

Desirable Criteria
• Experience in a customer-facing or support role (any setting)
• Interest in wellbeing or staff engagement
• Familiarity with spreadsheets or data entry
