Director’s Secretary

£33.16 per hour – Paid Weekly
Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (to be confirmed)
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Director’s Secretary to provide professional and confidential administrative support to senior leadership within a busy and fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong communication, diary management and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all enquiries on behalf of the Director, acting as the first point of contact for incoming calls, correspondence and mail
- Proactively assessing and prioritising information that requires the Director’s immediate attention
- Maintaining and monitoring the Director’s diary, scheduling internal and external meetings, and resolving diary conflicts effectively
- Screening meeting requests and managing changing priorities
- Preparing, collating, and presenting reports and information on behalf of the Director to communicate key business messages
- Supporting HR-related processes including recruitment administration, payroll issues, and maintaining confidential records
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Investigating and responding to complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner
- Providing administrative support for meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing documentation, and taking accurate minutes
- Maintaining effective financial systems and ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a senior administrative or secretarial role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- The ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
- A proactive and professional approach to work
