About the role

We're looking for a friendly, proactive and reliable Support Worker to join our team in West Bromwich (B70), supporting 2 gentlemen in their 50s-60s, each living in their own self-contained flat.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll provide a mix of 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping individuals live independently while staying active and connected to their communities.

You'll work across a structured two-week rota, offering consistency for both you and the people you support.

Who you will be supporting

You'll support 2 gentlemen with learning disabilities and autism, each with their own routine, personality and interests.

They enjoy:

- Cinema visits and leisure activities

- Bowling and swimming

- Social time and exploring new places

This is a service where building relationships, encouraging participation and planning activities really makes a difference.

- Providing 1:1 and 2:1 support depending on needs

- Supporting daily routines and independence

- Providing personal care

- Preparing meals and supporting healthy routines

- Administering medication

- Planning and supporting community activities and outings

- Encouraging confidence, choice and engagement

- Working as part of a small, supportive team

Shift patterns

This role follows a 2-week rolling rota (16.5 hours per week):

Week 1

- Monday: 10:30am - 9:30pm (mix of 1:1 & 2:1 support)

- Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm (1:1 support)

Week 2

- Monday: 8:00am - 3:00pm (2:1 support)

- Tuesday: 7:00am - 2:30pm (1:1 support)

Additional relief/bank shifts are available for those wanting extra hours.

You'll be a great fit if you are:

- Bubbly, positive and approachable

- Proactive and able to use your initiative

- Enjoy planning activities and getting involved

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- A strong communicator and team player

- Flexible and adaptable across different individuals

- Motivated to support people to live fulfilling lives

Experience in care is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided.
