Crynodeb
The post advertised is to compliment an existing sub speciality team of 3 full time Upper Limb Consultants based in Darlington that provide care to patients across the trusts full geographical catchment. The Upper Limb Service is consolidated to the Darlington site from an inpatient treatment perspective. The post holder will have their base site at Darlington Memorial Hospital but will also include clinics and theatre sessions in Bishop Auckland Hospital and peripheral clinics. Possession of a valid UK driving licence is essential. Applicants should have completed their FRCS (Orth) and be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of the interview date. They should have a good overall level of experience with all aspects of Orthopaedic trauma in terms of operative and non-operative management and have been trained to fellowship level in their subspecialty area.
