Crynodeb
Cody is a 15 year old girl who has Autism. She is largely non verbal but is able to say just a few words to communicate.
She lives at home with her parents and 4 siblings. Cody is full of energy and likes to play with her toys and will excitedly show you her favourites.
Cody’s parents and siblings will provide all of Cody’s likes, dislikes and what things are her ‘triggers’ to avoid.
Cody likes to be active and thrives on routine and familiarity. Once a bond has been made with Cody, the PA can take her outside to socialise – it may however take some time to do this but Mum will on hand initially to assist.
She enjoys walking with the dog and has a wheelchair she uses for longer journeys and will push it herself until she tires and will then put herself in the wheelchair. Cody also enjoys swimming but Mum would prefer support from a second person to do this.
Cody is a happy young lady in need of some further support to meet her social needs and provide her family with some added support.
