Summary
We are looking for 2 x Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2, preferably with experience working with SEN children, to join our Upper KS2 team. The posts are temporary for the Academic Year 2026/2027 linked to funding. We have pupils with a variety of needs across our school ranging from social emotional needs to ASD. We also have a number of children with EHC plans who require specific, bespoke support. The successful candidates will demonstrate skills to match these needs, be able to work under direction of the SENCo and be able to use their own initiative, supporting children on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and in our internal alternative provision.As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school. The successful candidates will be employed to work Monday to Friday 8.55 am - 3.10 pm with 1/2 hour lunch break, 28 3/4 hours per week, during term time and additional training days. Depending on experience and length of service, salary is paid at LG Band 3, SCP 5-6 £25,583 to £25,989 per annum full time, actual pay will be £17,156.06 to £17,428.33 per annum.
