About the Role
Our Client is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly Early Years team in Harrow.
The successful candidate will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating nursery environment while working in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children through high-quality Early Years education and care.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development through engaging play-based activities
Work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Observe, monitor, and support children’s progress and development
Support daily nursery routines including mealtimes, toileting, hygiene, and outdoor play
Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards at all times
Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
