School Cleaning Supervisor
Exeter | £15 per hour | 10 am - 6 pm | Monday to Friday | Temporary IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure the school premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to meet high standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional with leadership skills who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Paying £15 per hour.
Hours 10 am - 6 pm working Monday to Friday weekly during School Term.
Some deep cleans are required in the School holiday periods.
A DBS certificate will be required - Acorn by Synergie will support this.
Key Duties:- Supervise and support the daily activities of the cleaning team.
- Create and manage cleaning schedules and task allocations.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
- Manage cleaning supplies and stock control.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with site management regarding maintenance issues.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role (supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards.
- £15 per hour.
- Monday to Friday working pattern during School Term.
- Support with obtaining a DBS certificate.
