About the Role
Parkside View Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team in West Hendon.
The successful candidate will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within a safe, stimulating, and nurturing nursery environment while working in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and Early Years education who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
Work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating nursery environment
Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, and hygiene
Observe and monitor children’s progress where required
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
Support children with activities both indoors and outdoors
Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team
Requirements
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
Basic understanding of the EYFS framework
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about working with children
Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
