Summary

46 year old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy requires 28hr care (£13:25/hr in Leeds) - LS25

Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: 6e6b8aa6

Personal Specification
I'm looking for more than one personal assistant as I need practical support eg. washing, dressing, toileting (inc. suprapubic catheter care), and routine personal care in order to get up and ready for work which starts at 8:30-9:00am. In the evenings, I need support with getting ready for and into bed. Assistance is also required to help me with some household chores. I only need one person per shift so the 28 hours will be split among the personal assistants.

Mornings approx. 07:00-10:00 and evenings approx. 20:30/21:00-21:30/22:00. I can be flexible with evening and weekend timings for the right people. Unfortunately, my employer won't let me start any later in the mornings!

I am looking for people who possess the right values and qualities and understand the importance of person-centred care. Experience in care and support isn’t essential, but attributes like empathy, enthusiasm, a calm approach, a willingness to learn and adapt, and reliability, are qualities I am looking for.

Do you think you could be the right person to help me thrive and enjoy my independence? I would like to hear from you!
