Summary
Key responsibilities of the role include: Managing network infrastructure and services to meet the needs of the NHS Providing expert technical support for network services Ensuring network security and compliance with relevant standards and policies Identifying and resolving network issues to minimise downtime and improve performance Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with expertise in Cisco network technologies In-depth knowledge of network security best practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels Experience of designing and implementing network solutions in a complex network environment.
