Summary

Facilities Team Leader (On‑site) – HMP Long Lartin
Salary: £35,143 – £41,341 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week (includes weekends on a rota)
Location: HMP Long Lartin

We’re looking for a Facilities Team Leader to join our team at HMP Long Lartin, helping to keep the prison safe, clean, and running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with facilities or maintenance experience who enjoys leading a team and making a real difference in a unique working environment.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading and supporting a team delivering maintenance and facilities services
Making sure repairs and maintenance are completed safely and on time
Maintaining high standards across the site
Working closely with prison staff to plan and prioritise work
Promoting a strong health & safety culture
Checking timesheets and supporting day-to-day operations

What we’re looking for:
Experience in facilities, estates, or maintenance environments
Previous experience supervising or leading a team
Good understanding of health & safety
IT skills (basic systems and reporting)
Ability to organise work and meet deadlines

Desirable (not essential):
IOSH qualification
Facilities Management qualification
Experience using CAFM systems
