Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects as a Secondary Supply Teacher
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment throughout the school day

  • Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Secondary Supply Teacher or within secondary education
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confidence teaching across different year groups and subject areas
  • Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply work
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
  • Ability to quickly build rapport as a Secondary Supply Teacher in new settings
