Halo Staffing is urgently seeking dedicated and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Deal. We have immediate openings within the local community, as well as broader opportunities for those willing to travel to surrounding areas like Canterbury, Dover, and Sandwich.
Pay: £12.60 - £19.20 per hour*
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Providing person-centred support tailored to the unique physical and emotional needs of children and young people.
Assisting with personal care tasks with sensitivity and respect, including help with dressing, hygiene, and toileting.
Assisting with daily routines, school prep, and educational activities.
Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment at home and in the community.
Maintaining dignity while promoting independence and essential life skills.
Promoting social inclusion by supporting children to attend local clubs, coastal activities, and community events.
Kent-Wide Opportunities:
While we are recruiting specifically for Deal, we have a high demand for support staff across Kent. For candidates who can drive or travel, we offer:
Increased shift variety across multiple locations (Dover, Canterbury, Folkestone).
Travel mileage/allowances (where applicable for specific placements).
Flexible placements ranging from school-based support to community-based care.

Requirements:

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly advantageous for accessing broader Kent opportunities, though not essential for local Deal roles.
Right to work in the UK and excellent communication skills.
