What skills and experience we're looking for

This post is suitable for a more experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering the highest quality in Physical Education. We are seeking to appoint a teacher who will support and drive the ethos of the department and the wider school community. The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to the teaching and development of PE across the whole age and ability range, including examination groups at Key Stage 4 and/or 5. A commitment to support the extracurricular sport programme is also integral to the role.

The PE department has seven specialist teachers, all of whom are required to teach a range of curriculum sports within the Games programme at Key Stages 3 and 4, and enrichment at Key Stage 5. GCSE and A-Level PE are delivered based upon subject specialisms. The staff within the department promote and deliver a high level of extracurricular provision. Students at the school compete at District, Regional and National levels of competition in a range of sporting activities.
