We’re excited to announce a rare opportunity to join our large, welcoming, and friendly Primary School family!
At Kings Heath, community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re all about creating a happy, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Class Teacher to join our dedicated team from the Autumn term 2026. This will initially be a fixed term contract.
With a Good rating from Ofsted in April 2023, we’re on an exciting journey forward—and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Are you a passionate teacher with a flair for creativity and a love for sparking excitement in the classroom? The Governors, Head Teacher, Senior Leaders, and the children at Kings Heath Primary School are looking for YOU to join our friendly team from the Summer Term. However, we could wait until September for the right person!
School tours will be on: 1st June, 2nd June, 5th June at 3:45pm.
Deadline for applications will be 8th June.
Interviews will be 12th June.
Commitment to safeguarding
Kings Heath Primary School and Birmingham City Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Two professional referees, an enhanced DBS check, on line background checks & a self-declaration declaration under the Childcare (Disqualifications) Regulations 2009 will required for the successful candidate. Successful applicant will need to provide evidence of their qualifications, identity and Right to Work in the UK.
